About This Puja

Sri Sukta Homam is a fire ritual to Devi Lakshmi, performed for your household by a South Indian pandit. Offerings go into the sacred fire as the Sri Suktam, a Vedic hymn to Lakshmi, is chanted. Your family's custom and language decide which pandit performs it, and photos or video are shared on WhatsApp.

What is Sri Sukta Homam?

The Sri Suktam is a Vedic hymn to Devi Lakshmi. In a Sri Sukta Homam its verses are chanted while offerings are given into the sacred fire. Lotus, ghee and sweets are often among them. The homam is offered as a prayer for prosperity and for a home blessed with plenty. Here a South Indian pandit does the chanting and offerings for you, after a sankalp in your name and gotra.
